Starting today, the Language Testing and Research Center officially opens the MyET English oral online course for use. Here is some information about the course:

The MyET software employs technologies such as the 'Automatic Speech Analysis System' and 'Dynamic Plot-Driven Language Digital Learning System' to analyze learners' English pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and volume. It quantifies scores, clearly indicating learners' proficiency in spoken English, identifying issues, and providing improvement suggestions to enhance learners' English speaking abilities.

Eligibility: Currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff

(Announcement for 111-1: If you are currently taking freshman or sophomore English courses, your account information will be automatically imported into the system after October 10th.)

The Language Testing and Research Center also opens the Self-directed Learning Room 221 located on the 2nd floor of the library. It provides computers, headphones, and other equipment to facilitate independent learning.
