II. Target: National Chi Nan University students

III. Objective: To encourage students to accumulate English words and strengthen their learning achievements, the Spelling Bee is held to encourage students to grow together in an exciting competition.

IV. Organizer: National Chi Nan University Language Teaching and Research Center

V. Time:

First Round: May 03, 2023 (Wednesday) 13:10 to 15:00.

Final: May 10, 2023 (Wednesday) 13:10 to 15:00.

VI. Venue: 

【First Round】: Room A000

【Final】: Circle Theatre

VII. Method:

First Round: After hearing the English words from the teacher, each participant will spell the English words within 5 seconds. The last ten contestants to remain in the competition will advance to the final round. For detailed rules and regulations, please click here (including the introductory video).

Final: Each participant will be given 5 seconds to spell out the English word after hearing the question from the test instructor. The longer you hold on, the higher your ranking will be.

Awards

First place: NT$2,500 voucher and a certificate

Second place: NT$2,000 voucher and a certificate

Third place: NT$1,500 voucher and a certificate
