Guidelines and Schedule for Freshman and Sophomore English Exemption for the 112th Academic Year.
1. The English course exemption application process for freshmen and sophomores takes place during the first semester of each academic year. Please ensure you meet this deadline.
2. You must bring the following documents, all of which are mandatory:
a. Fill out and print the credit exemption application form on the school's system, listing the first and second-year English courses you wish to exempt (including basic and advanced classes) and the courses you intend to use for exemption.
b. Transcripts from previous years.
c. Syllabi for the courses you plan to use for exemption. These can be in either hard copy or web format. (If you can bring the textbooks used in the courses, it would be even better.)
3. Review location: Room 220-10, next to the Language Testing and Research Center office, on the second floor of the library.

5. The final decision on credit exemption will be based on the review by the Curriculum Office of the Academic Affairs Division.
