Rules

 

Preliminary Round

 

1  Participants are invited to produce an English presentation based on the given theme.

 

2  Presentations must be done using PowerPoint (or any other software converted to PowerPoint) and delivered in English. All team members must participate in the presentation.

 

3  Each team consists of 1-3 members, with a film duration of 1 minute for the preliminary round, presenting the theme and outline by the participants.

 

4  Works should be uploaded to the email address during the preliminary submission period. The top 8 entries will be selected by the judges to advance to the finals. The list of finalists will be announced on the center's website before 5:00 PM on April 25.

 

Final Round

 

1  Finalists should submit their competition presentation files to the center's email address before 5:00 PM on April 29th.

Email subject format: 2024 Presentation Final DFL 111222333 Jane Smith.

 

2  Final presentations are limited to 5 minutes. In-person competition; failure to respond after three calls by the host will be considered forfeit.

The top 3 entries will be selected by the judges, and the audience present at the event will vote for their favorite team. The group with the highest accumulated votes will receive the Best Popularity Award. In case of a tie, the prize money will be evenly distributed among all tied winners.

Awards

 

The first prize winner will receive a NT2500 gift voucher and a certificate.

 

The second prize winner will receive a NT2000 gift voucher and a certificate.

 

The third prize winner will receive a NT1500 gift voucher and a certificate.

 

The Best Popularity Award winner will receive a NT1000 gift voucher and a certificate.

 

Audience Prize: Audience members who participate in the entire final event and voting will be eligible for a draw to win a NT100 gift voucher. There are a total of 40 prizes available.
