113學年度大一大二英文課程更名公告
各位同學您好，
為了更貼近實際課程內容，且反映各階段英文課程的學習過程與目標，經校課程委員會(113.06.13) 通過，自113學年度起調整英文課課名如下，請在選課時注意：
各系英文課程:
原各系大一英文上學期更名為：(系名)+跨域專業學術英文(一)：文本解析與書寫
原各系大一英文下學期更名為：(系名)+跨域專業學術英文(二)：思辨與表達
原各系大二英文更名為：(系名)+跨域專業學術英文(三)：跨文化溝通與表達
基礎班英文課程:
原基礎班大一英文上學期更名為：跨域專業學術英文(一)：文本解析與書寫(基礎)
原基礎班大一英文下學期更名為：跨域專業學術英文(二)：思辨與表達(基礎)
原基礎班大二英文更名為：跨域專業學術英文(三)：跨文化溝通與表達(基礎)
進階班英文課程:
原進階班大一英文上學期更名為：跨域專業學術英文(一)：文本解析與書寫(進階)
原進階班大一英文下學期更名為：跨域專業學術英文(二)：思辨與表達(進階)
原進階班大二英文更名為：跨域專業學術英文(三)：跨文化溝通與表達(進階)
因課程名稱更改作業時程關係，未及於113學年度第1學期學生選課須知上反映新的課程名稱，還請同學見諒，也麻煩在選課時留意。如對選課有任何疑問或需要協助，請隨時與語文中心聯繫。

Announcement:
New Nomenclature for Freshman and Sophomore English Courses
as of Academic Year 113
Dear Students,
To better match the actual course content and reflect the learning process and objectives of English courses at various stages, the University Curriculum Committee approved the following changes on June 13, 2024. Starting from Academic Year 113, the names of the original Freshman and Sophomore English courses will be changed. Please note the following adjustments to the names of the Freshman and Sophomore English courses when selecting your courses.
English Courses by Department:
I. The original Freshman English course for the first semester will be renamed to
(Department) + Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Textual Interpretation and Composition
II. The original Freshman English course for the second semester will be renamed to
(Department) + Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Critical Thinking and Expression
III. The original Sophomore English course will be renamed to
(Department) + Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Cross-Cultural Communicative Skills
Basic English Courses:
I. The original Basic Freshman English course for the first semester will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Textual Interpretation and Composition
II. The original Basic Freshman English course for the second semester will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Critical Thinking and Expression
III. The original Basic Sophomore English course will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Cross-Cultural Communicative Skills
Advanced English Courses:
I. The original Advanced Freshman English course for the first semester will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Textual Interpretation and Composition
II. The original Advanced Freshman English course for the second semester will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Critical Thinking and Expression
III. The original Advanced Sophomore English course will be renamed to
Cross-disciplinary ESAP: Cross-Cultural Communicative Skills
As the process had to follow certain required procedures, therefore, the new course names may not be reflected in the course selection instructions for the first semester of Academic Year 113 in time. We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly ask that you pay extra attention during course selection.
