National Chi Nan University PVQC (Professional Vocabulary Quotient Credential) School-Level Competition
1.Event Name: National Chi Nan University PVQC (Professional Vocabulary Quotient Credential) School-Level Competition
2. Target Participants: Students of National Chi Nan University who meet the following qualifications will be admitted on a merit-based basis:
1) Hold an international certificate in English that meets the required grades in 2023-2025 (see attachment for details).
2) Willing to participate in the designated online training sessions.
3. Competition Groups (Each participant may register for only one group):
A. PVQC Electrical Engineering — Expert Level
B. PVQC Business and Management — Expert Level
4. Organizer: National Chi Nan University Language Teaching Center
5. Competition Schedule:
l In-school Preliminary Round: October 22, 2025 (Wednesday), 1:10 PM – 3:00 PM
l Central Taiwan Regional Round: November 29, 2025 (Saturday), time to be announced
l National Final Round: January 27, 2026 (Tuesday), tentative
6. Venue:
l In-school Preliminary Round: Computer Classroom 010-1, Basement 1, Library, NCNU [Participants are required to bring their own headphones on the competition day.]
l Central Taiwan Regional Round: Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology (CTUST)
l National Final Round: Venue to be announced
7. Competition Rules and Awards:
1) Participants must follow the Center’s instructions, complete the designated online practice, and achieve the required scores.
2) Each week, participants must submit a screenshot of their qualifying score to the Language Center.

3) Participants who complete the training, achieve the required scores, and finish the In-school preliminary round will receive a reward of NT$1,000.
4) The top four students in each group of the In-school preliminary round and participate in the Central Taiwan Regional Round, will receive a reward of NT$2,000 (including registration fee and transportation subsidy).

9. Training Schedule:
October 6–17, 2025
During the training period, participants will practice online using the designated software and are required to achieve the specified target score (50–60 points).
