For group entries, each member must register on the official website. Only one member needs to email the shared video link.

Make sure the video permission is set to public/viewable.
Final Round: Japanese-style Classroom, 2nd Floor, Library

Contest Rules:
(1) Participants must not have lived in Japan for more than three (3) years, inclusive.
(2) Preliminary Round:
-
No separation between solo and group categories (group size is unlimited).
-
Repeated lyrics or non-Japanese lyrics must not exceed one-third (1/3) of the song.

Select one eligible Japanese song, perform a 40–60 second a cappella, and record it on video.

Video requirements:
• The participant’s full face must be clearly visible, front-facing.
• Maximum length: 60 seconds.
• File format: .mp4.
• Submit within the preliminary deadline and ensure viewing permission is enabled. -
Judges will select the top 8 entries for the final. The shortlist will be posted on the Center’s website by 5:00 PM, October 31, 2025 (Fri.).
(3) Final Round:

Each finalist performs one complete Japanese song; performance time limit: 5 minutes.

If using audio accompaniment, email the accompaniment file to the Center by 12:00 PM (noon), November 4, 2025 (Tue.).

If performing with live accompaniment, email the song title to the Center by the same deadline.

The final running order will be announced on site. If a participant fails to appear after three calls, it will be regarded as forfeiture.

Judges will select the top three winners. Audience members on site may vote for one favorite act; the act with the highest total votes will receive the “Most Popular Award.” In case of a tie, the prize will be shared equally among the winners.
(4) Prizes:
• 1st Place (1 winner): NT$3,500 gift voucher + Certificate
• 2nd Place (2 winners): NT$3,000 gift voucher + Certificate
• 3rd Place (3 winners): NT$2,500 gift voucher + Certificate
• Most Popular Award (1 winner): NT$2,000 gift voucher + Certificate
(5) Judging Criteria:
• Vocal diction & technique: 70%
• Stage presence: 10%
• Costume & styling: 20%
