1142 Lecture Career Marathon in the Clouds: Courage and Strategies for Crossing Boundaries from Flight Attendant to PhD
Have you ever felt uncertain about your future, or wondered how your current choices might shape your career?
Associate professor Rui-Chih Peng’s journey spans remarkably different fields. Starting with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Nutrition at Taipei Medical University, she moved into the aviation industry as a flight attendant and later advanced to cabin chief. She eventually returned to academia and earned a PhD in Human Resource Management. What may look like a series of detours is, in fact, a carefully built long-term career path.
In this talk, Professor Peng explores the power of cross-disciplinary learning and shares practical strategies for designing a long-term career in an uncertain world.
